SALARY: £30-40k pro rata – depending on experience

Achisomoch Aid Company Limited (AAC) is a London based charity established more than 40 years ago, that provides highly efficient services and innovative solutions to clients and charities

The aim of AAC is to facilitate the giving of charity more efficiently and easily by creating a bridge between our clients and worldwide charities.  Clients use their account to donate directly to charities, with all the features of a bank account – cheque books, regular statements, on-line access, online charity donations, interactive queries on their account, low balance messages by SMS or email, and a help line that’s second-to-none.


Vacancy description:

The company manages a variety of software applications for both internal users and external clients and charities. There is a vacancy for an experienced quality assurance professional to improve the quality of software released and to help the company move to more test-driven methodology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Improve level of quality for all new releases
  • Oversee the testing of company software and applications
  • Conduct all appropriate types of testing
  • Create and maintain regression test suite
  • Support the writing of automated test scripts
  • Help migrate the company to test driven development
  • Work with AAC IT team, designers, developers, internal and external users of AAC IT applications
  • Other tasks commensurate with the role and experience

Qualifications/ experience required: ​

  • At least four years experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience working remotely with customers and developers
  • Commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of fluency in English
  • Understands IT project lifecycles
  • Worked with and as part of IT teams with developers and designers
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Numerate, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures

Profile of the ideal candidate:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain a professional and patient demeanour at all times;
  • An ability to take the initiative with the determination to see tasks through until completion.
  • Bonus: Understanding of the UK Jewish charity sector & Jewish community
