Account Description & Benefits

  • With an Individual account  you will be able to use an online account and charity vouchers to make charitable donations.
  • If you choose to claim Gift Aid, every £1 that you donate will become £1.25 for you to distribute to the charity of your choice.
  • If you are a higher rate tax payer you will get additional tax savings.
  • If you claim Gift Aid you will need to enter your total payments to AAC under Gift Aid each year on your tax return. You can get a summary of all these payments from the Online system. Find out here how Gift Aid works.


How it Works

  • When you open an Individual account with AAC you will be provided with an online account and charity voucher books to make charitable donations.
  • If you choose to claim Gift Aid you will be asked to complete a Gift Aid section on the form below. It is to be completed by you just once.
  • For Individual accounts reclaiming Gift Aid, all payments you make to AAC will benefit from a Tax Rebate of 25% (less a small commission charge)
  • AAC submits claims each week and the rebate will be credited to your account within a few weeks.

  • For Individual accounts reclaiming Gift Aid, rebates from Gift Aid are credited to your account immediately upon receipt from HMRC. Normally within a few weeks of your payment to AAC

Our Commission Service Fee

  • There is a commission service fee of  5% (maximum) on all donations into your account – including Gift Aid rebates. Commission rate reductions are available if significant annual deposits are made – please speak to our client support team on 020 8731 8988 to discuss this further.
  • These funds enable AAC to operate, invest in enhancing our products and services, and ensure an unmatched level of compliance. As such, these commissions ensure a win-win for our clients and our community.
  • All profits that we generate from these commissions are donated to UK-based educational institutions.

How to join

  • Complete and submit the online form below, and we will be in touch shortly to confirm your account.
  • You will then be required to send a cheque or make a direct payment to AAC of at least £200 and make sure to include your name as a reference. Our Bank details are: Achisomoch Aid Co. Ltd., Sort Code 20-29-60, account number 2033 2003.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • We make a commission rate of 5% (maximum) for all payments into your account. Significant reductions in commission rates are available based on annual deposits – contact our client support team on 020 8731 8988 to see what we can offer you.

    • All transactions, balance and summaries are visible on your online account (either Smartphone or Computer); you are also emailed a monthly statement.

      On the settings page of your account, you can control if/when to receive alerts by SMS of balance and transactions.

    • Online donation requests are normally processed within one working day; vouchers are processed within two days of the voucher being received by us from the charity.

      If you have funds in your account, the transfer of your donation to the charity normally happens by BACS three day transfer, although donations to international charities may take a week or two, depending on the size of donation.

      The charities receive immediate emails to advise them of your request – they can also view this information on their Charity Portal.

    • Clients may communicate with us using e-mail ( or phone during Office hours, Monday – Thursday: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday: 9:30 am – 12:00pm.

    • We make regular transfers to bona-fide international charities, using an exchange provider that provides competitive rates with minimal charges and fast service.

    • Please fill in the regular application form for opening an AAC account for an individual with the executor of the estate being the applicant.

      Once our office has received the initial application we will be follow up with a request for further documentation including (but not exclusively) a copy of the Will, Deed of variation and Proof of appointment of executors.
