I like to transfer my ma’aser money into my AAC account as soon as I get paid. That way I know it’s done and I don’t need to think about it.
Because AAC claims Gift Aid for me, it automatically gets added to my account and that way I can give even more charity!

You can give charity even if you’re not earning a wage.

The AAC Starter scheme is free, so there’s no harm in setting it up to use it if and when needed.

Big or small, you can make a difference today!

Conveniently use voucher books

We offer pre-paid vouchers, pre-printed vouchers (like cheques) and cards to conveniently use in shul, on Purim or at weddings.

Easily track who you’ve given to

All past donations are recorded on your online account for easy reference.

Donate to charities around the world

Donating to a charity abroad is as easy as donating to your local school around the corner (and you get the tax benefits as if you’re giving to a UK charity).

‘I love how easily I can give to all the charity campaigns...’

I realised I wasn’t keeping track of how much tzedakah I was giving.
I heard AAC was 100% trustworthy so I knew I could trust them.
Now that I’ve been using my account for 6 months I realise how much easier it is to give tzedakah and track how much I’m giving.
I love how easily I can give to all the charity campaigns using just my AAC password and it was so simple to open my account!

Gift Aid?

It’s surprisingly simple.

If you’re like many charity givers, the word ‘Gift Aid’ sounds complicated. But really, it’s straightforward.

Claiming Gift Aid when you have an AAC account is easy and will boost your donations without any extra cost to you.

What is Gift Aid?

A charity can get an additional 25p from HMRC for every £1 given to them by a UK Taxpayer.

Because AAC is a charity, when you deposit funds into your account, AAC claims the Gift Aid and then deposits it in your account for you to donate where you wish, allowing you to give more charity! (Gift Aid isn’t available if you’re depositing into your account from a company or through Payroll Giving as the tax benefits work differently in these cases).

How do I claim Gift Aid?

Just confirm, ‘I am a UK taxpayer’ on your AAC Individual Giving application form.
We’ll claim the Gift Aid for you and automatically add it to your AAC account. For every £1 you deposit into your account, you’ll have £1.25 to give to charity - with no added hassle to you.

‘It took less than 5 minutes to set up!’

Before I joined AAC, I always thought I’d need to give them lots of information to open an AAC account. But it was actually so simple. It took less than 5 minutes to set up!
It’s now so much easier to donate to charity campaigns.
AAC claims Gift Aid for me - so I can give more charity without doing anything extra!
They send monthly statements which are very useful and I also log into my online portal to check up on my giving.

For every £1 you deposit into your account, you’ll have £1.25 to give to charity - with no added hassle to you.
If you are on PAYE you can check if you are paying tax on your payslip. If you are not on PAYE or have additional income, you can either check your self-assessment tax return or ask your accountant.
For those on PAYE, your payslip and P60 will note the amount of tax paid. If you are not on PAYE or have additional income, you can either check your self-assessment tax return or ask your accountant.
In April each year, we send you a breakdown of the amount of Gift Aid we claimed for you for the tax year that has just ended (5th April). If this amount is more than the amount of tax you have paid in the year, you will need to let us know.

Please note:

  • The amount of tax paid is the amount of Gift Aid that can be claimed. The current rate is 25% of your donation. Therefore we can claim back on donations amounting to 4 times the tax you have paid in the year.
  • For example: If you have paid £1,000 of tax in the year, we can claim Gift Aid on £4,000 worth of your donations.
  • This amount is the maximum that can be claimed in your name by all charities. Therefore you also need to take into consideration donations that have been given to other charities directly (not through your AAC account) for which they are claiming Gift Aid.
  • If you have any questions, please call our helpful team on +44 (0)20 8731 8988 who will be happy to advise.
If you make international donations above £100, a small handling charge of 2% is made to cover additional compliance checks.
